What we collect, and why
Newsletter. When you subscribe, we collect your email address, your first name if you give it, and your language. They are used only to send the newsletter, on the basis of your consent. They are kept until you unsubscribe, which you can do in one click from any email.
Messages to the newsroom. If you email us, we keep your message and address for as long as needed to answer and follow up on it.
Technical logs. Our host records technical data (IP address, browser, pages requested) to run and secure the Site. These logs are kept for a short period.
Who receives your data
Your data is never sold. It is processed only by the newsroom and by these providers:
- systeme.io: newsletter sending and subscriber management;
- Vercel Inc. (United States): hosting of the Site.
Some of these providers may process data outside your country, under the safeguards set out in their own terms.
Cookies
At this time, the Site sets no advertising or audience measurement cookies. Fonts are served from our own domain, and images go through our host: reading an article does not send your data to Google or any other third party.
Sharing buttons are plain links: the social network concerned only receives information if you click them. If we add audience measurement or advertising, a consent banner will ask for your choice beforehand and this page will be updated.
Your rights
You can access, correct or delete your data, object to its processing, ask for its portability or withdraw your consent at any time. Write to contact@bovo-digital.tech; we answer within one month.
You can also lodge a complaint with the data protection authority of your country: the APDP in Benin, the CNIL in France, or the equivalent authority where you live.
